Last week, I was interviewed by Go Solo Subkit about my experiences as a business owner and a 'one-woman-band'.
It's sometimes hard to put into succinct words what the experiences are like to build and run your own business. You could talk about the practicalities, about the day to day challenges, about the growing pains, how to tackle marketing on your own, and so on.
But really, the most exhilarating thing is to see something that you have created, off your own back, and watch it grow. And being able to help so many people learn a language. Which is so much more than just teaching them the language. Being able to be a person in their life for a while, who helps them achieve some of their life goals. That's really precious and humbling.
